What is a Generation 2?
Our Generation 2 vehicle is essentially a new Type I or Type III ambulance at a fraction of the cost.
A new chassis coupled with a reconditioned module is our way of saving you money and providing you with a quality vehicle.
Our Remounts are CAAS certified, and our Type II Transit is KKK 1822-F certified. We operate within strict compliance to FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards), AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards on all operations performed on our vehicles.
Warranty
ASV hereby warrants to each remount purchaser, retrofitted by ASV that all materials and workmanship incorporated by ASV during the remount process shall be free of defects. The warranty extends to standard features incorporated during the remount process and published ASV options.
- Three (3) Year or 36,000-mile Electrical warranty.
- Three (3) Year General Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship supplied or performed by ASV under normal use and service.
- Five (5) Year Paint Conversion Warranty shall be five (5) years or 100,000 miles from the date of the delivery
- Five (5) Year Structural Warranty ensures your ambulance shall be free of structural defects for a period of five (5) years after being remounted.
- EXCLUDED from General Warranty:
- Chassis or items supplied by chassis manufacturers.
- Tires, tire balancing or wheel alignment.
- General tightening, light bulbs or headlamp adjustments.
- Separately manufactured items installed by ASV include but are not limited to batteries, sirens, battery chargers, inverters and similar equipment. These are covered by warranties supplied by the manufacturer of the components. ASV will facilitate the warranty and replacement of the defective component.
- Normal wear, abuse, accident, negligence or unapproved alteration of original parts.
- Chassis warranty shall be covered by the chassis manufacturer.
